Hello and welcome! Today I have a little Home Decor Stampin’ Up! Style for you!
Home Decor Stampin’ Up! Style
I’ve taken a Notice board from Ikea and given it a touch of Stampin’ Up!
We’d actually bought the Noticeboard early in the year for my youngest daughter for when she sorted her room but we are still waiting for that to happen – University studies and exams have got in the way a little.
So while it was just sitting there I decided to pretty it up!
The floral pattern across the top is from that gorgeous 12×12 sheet of Delightfully Detailed Specialty Laser Cut Paper. I snipped around the flower design about half way and then popped the other half on the right to complete the top.
My board is 22″ wide so I just had to work and snip the design to fit at the centre and not overlap. While it took a bit of trimming it didn’t take too long and wasn’t too hard to do. It sure pretties up that noticeboard!
The bottom panel is done with 2 strips of Designer Series Paper 2 1/2″ wide. The stripe pattern is from the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper Pack.
Instead of lathering the back with glue I used Tear n Tape along the bottom and the sides of the strips. I also put a piece at half way vertically to create the ‘pockets’ to hold the post it not pad and these cards …
One card has a few reminders for the girls to do while we are away on the Alaska Cruise and the other has our Itinerary.
The cards used on the board are from the Delicate Details Memories and More Card pack. These card packs are so versatile and can be used for so much more than just Memory Keeping or Scrapbooking.
