My first card uses the Cups of Christmas Dies and the Wrapped in Plaid Specialty Designer Series Paper …
This was such a fun and easy card to make. Most of the elements are die cut using the Cup of Cheer Dies. The cup is two parts layered on top of each other and how cool are the dies to make the Candy Canes!
I’ve laid my cup on one of the pieces from the Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper pack.
After making this card I had a strip of the patterned piece left over so decided to create a card with it rather than just pop it back in the pack. Here’s what I made ..
I grabbed some Whisper White and Merry Merlot for my card base and layering. Then used the Triple Banner Punch on the end of the left over strip and stuck it down.
I’ve used the Stitched Rectangles in Whisper White and Merry Merlot. I cut a Merry Merlot frame and then then inside rectangle in Whisper White and layered one inside the other. They are secured with many dimensionals over the join to keep them in place. The tree is stamped in Merry Merlot on the inner White Stitched Rectangle and I’ve made a simple Ho Ho Ho banner to finish off my card. Simple, Easy and Festively Fun!
