Good Morning … I hope you are having a wonderful Friday!
A couple of weeks ago I held my Hexagon Hive Thinlits class – we made 4 cards using the awesome little Hexagon Hive Thinlits
- Now I’ve had this die for eons and thought it was really time to use it! I find too that when we have a mini catalogue or sale-a-bration is happening we tend to forget all the gorgeous goodies available in the Annual Catalogue.
Now that I’m on the subject of the Annual Catalogue I thought I’d let you know that we are changing the dates of our Catalogues and the current Annual Catalogue will now finish 2nd June so be sure you get everything you want from it as soon as possible as you know how quick things sell once the retired products list comes out which I’m expecting to be 1st May (not confirmed as yet).
Now back to the Hexagon Hives – I wanted to show it’s versatility and give you some ideas for both male and female cards as well as different ideas using it. Today’s card uses only part of the thinlit and is a little bit arty and abstract ….
I do love Gorgeous Grunge and love the look of this card – you could literally give this to anyone! I’ve used Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry Inks and it would be super easy to change the look of this card just by changing the colours you stamp in.
Actually that’s what I did with this one.
My oldest daughter loved the card so much she asked for one the same for her friends 18th Birthday Card. I changed this one a little – I used the Brushed Bronze and instead of offsetting the Hexagon piece I flipped it to be opposite of the bronze piece. I used Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana for my stamping.
The random rhinestones lift a card so much!
I do hope you like these two cards and I’m quite happy to bring this class to you. We can hold it in your home or mine and all you have to do is have 4 people in attendance. I’ll also have it available Class by Mail with different options to choose from. That offer should be up over the weekend as I share more of the cards from class.
What’s coming up …
- 22nd Birdhouse Class @ 1.30pm
- 29th Easter Class @ 1.30pm
Thanks for stopping by and catch ya latte …
