Welcome to this week’s serve of FAB Stampers. This week it’s my turn to share a project and I’ve created a sweet little Heart & Home Mini Album.
I love making Mini Albums and remember making a few in my early Stampin’ Up! days and thought what better way to highlight this gorgeous suite.

Heart & Home Suite
The Heart & Home Suite is a gorgeous suite full of a range of products. It’s so lovely they had to include two Stamp Set & Die bundles, Embossing Folder, Designer Series Paper Pack, Ribbon, Doilies, Matte Dots Embellishments, Memories & More Card Pack and Memories & More Card Pack and envelopes.
So many different products to use! For my Heart & Home Mini Album I used the Designer Series Paper Pack and the Memories & More Card Pack. I hope you like what I’ve created.
The Mini Album
Here’s my sweet little Mini Album …
You’ll need a sheet of 12×12 Designer Series Paper for the Album. Cut your piece in half at 6″ or 15.2cm Ensure you place your patterned paper in your trimmer the right direction to ensure it is the right way up for your album.
Now taking your two pieces of 6×12 (15.2cm x 30.5cm) cut both at 7 1/8″ or 18cm. Ensuring the pattern is right way up score your first piece at 3 3/8″ (8.5cm) and 6 3/4″ (17cm)along the long side and along short edge at 4 3/8″ (11.2cm) – this will give you 1 5/8″ (4cm) to fold up to create your pockets.
On the second piece, again ensuring the pattern is the right way up, we need to reverse the scoring measurements. So score at 3/8″ (1cm), 3 3/4″ (9.5cm) along the long edge and the same 4 3/8″ (11.2cm) to give the 1 5/8″ (4cm) fold for the pockets.
Let’s assemble …
Burnish all your score lines and assemble Album cover. Affix your two pieces together at the spine first. Then fold up the section for the pockets. Use your multipurpose glue to affix the pockets in the centre at the spine and just a thin line of glue at each edge. Then fold your pages in.
Decorate your cover as desired. I used some of the adhesive pieces from the Memories & More Card Pack along with some lace (retired – sorry I missed the memo when this retired), Brass Butterflies, Champagne Rhinestones and Baker’s Twine. You can decorate yours as you please.
Now onto the inserts …
Flip through your Heart & Home Memories & More Card Pack and choose some sayings/sentiments you’d like to include. Select as many as you like and then go through those choices for your two favourites. Then look for some blank cards to match for journaling or writing a note on.
Here are the cards I chose …
The cards I chose were the 3×4 cards but you can easily cut the 6×4 cards in half to give you the right colour/design if required. Pretty them up with an extra strip and some lace … or the ribbon of your choice. Those little adhesive die-cuts from the Memories & More card pack are perfect for sweet little accents.
