Happy Birthday Dad!

Well today I was up wayyyyyyyyyyyy before the sun – do you know just how dark it is at 4am?? I do now!

I did think it was a good idea at the time when my sister booked a 7am flight to visit Dad for his birthday … well that was until I worked out just what time I had to get up!

Dad turned 81 today and here’s the card I made him from the family ….

Paper: Fan Fair Designer Series Paper, Not Quite Navy, Very Vanilla
Inks: Not Quite Navy, Chocolate Chip, Cajun Craze, Soft Suede, Baja Breeze
Accessories: Stampin Sponges, Stampin Dimensionals, Sanding block

Now dont go into a state of shock or get the shakes but I did do an insert ….

I love doin a bit of collage stamping and the Clockworks set is a perfect one to do this – it also matched his gift of a new Fob Watch which he just loved.

I sure hope he liked his birthday that started with an early morning flight and finished with a lovely dinner with his favourite girls 🙂
