World Card Making Day

World Card Making Day is an annual event. I love to share what I do and this day gives me an opportunity to share it more with making cards and how it can benefit not only the crafter but also the recipient. Especially over the last 20 months it’s become more apparent we need to send more cards. With the Global Pandemic we havent been able to see our friends and family as much as we used to so sending them card will not only keep a postie in a job but it will brighten the day for those receiving them.

If you would like to receive a card from me .. or request one for a friend please click here and complete the request.

This past Saturday I actually held 4 events online. One on Zoom using the Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Card Kit and Cards & Envelopes pack. I also did three other sessions Live on my Facebook Page – I’ll share more about those over the next week or so.

My World Card Making Day Projects

I had lots of fun creating with this suite over World Card Making Day. Here’s some projects I made during our Zoom Craft along session …

This fun card uses some of the Memories & More Cards & Envelopes plus one of the Cards from the Memories & More Card Pack. The ornament shapes are cut from the Designer Series Paper. The words and candies come from one 3×4 cards from the Memories & More Card Pack plus one of the silver ‘trays’ in the pack.

Now after cutting the words and candies out of the Memories & More Card I used I had three little trees left over. So I made a fun little Christmas Tag …

The tag part is actually one of the label dies from the Pillow Box dies. It was quick and easy to create once I worked out what I was going to use those cute trees for!

Here’s another quick card using the Memories & More Card Pack …

This one was so quick! It was just a matter of popping the 3×4 card on with Dimensionals then adhering the embellishments and a small bow.

What’s Christmas without a few Gift Cards? we all need something pretty to present them in right? Well I made this for you ….

This Gift Card holder uses half a sheet of A4 and some Designer Series Paper. The Mit and Star cookies are cut from the Designer Series Paper Pack.

It opens to reveal the fun little pocket for you to place your gift card or gift voucher inside. Super fun and easy to make.

Here’s a Video to show you how to easily make your gift card holder. You can easily adjust the cardstock colours and Designer Series Paper to suite what you have on hand. Or alternatively you can choose to purchase these products at my store.

Let’s go hopping …

Today there’s just my blog and my lovely friend Ann Craig …

I do hope you liked our projects. We sure had fun creating together on World Card Making Day! I think we should make it a monthly thing dont you?

Thanks for stopping by and see you latte ..
