Good Morning & Happy Monday to You!
I love Mondays! It’s my ‘me’ day – my day when hubby has gone off to work and the girls have gone off to school and I can do those things I wanted to do on the weekend but couldnt. It’s when I sit down with that cuppa and just let out the sigh that I made it through another weekend with the teenagers!
Now if only today was a little brighter and warmer outside – yep while our Northern Hemisphere friends are reveling in their warmer weather our temperature is dropping as we head into Winter. So today is the perfect day to share my Fringed Rainbow Card – it’s the final project we made at Club last month using the Fringed Scissors – mind you there are so many other ideas you can use the Scissors for so be sure to grab yourself a pair!
I am hoping this bright card will warm you up ….
How bright and cheery is this card? it also happens to be quite easy to do as well!
I love this stamp that comes with the Hip Hip Hooray Card Kit – it worked perfectly with this card as did the Starburst Framelit!
This layout is great for the brights like this or you could make an Ombre Card using various shades of the one colour going light to dark – they look really awesome too!
So how did I get the sentiment in different colours? I simply coloured my stamp with the different coloured markers, huffed on it and then stamped it on my white card. Why did I huff on it? well it simply re moistens the ink and gives me a great reference to Darth Vader/Star Wars at my workshops and classes!
Have you liked my ‘Fringed’ projects? Would you like the Project Sheets (with step by step instructions) for all three projects? They will be yours when you purchase your Fringed Scissors from me! So contact me now or hop on over to my online Stampin Store to place your order. Once you’ve placed your order the files will be sent to you – if you’d rather me print them and post them to you just let me know!
Now I think it’s time to make a coffee and crack open my Blendabilities or my Project Life goodies … hmm what to choose??
Thanks for stopping by ….
