Hello and welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop with my crafty friends. This week’s theme is Halloween and I’ve used the Frightfully Cute bundle for today’s project.
Frightfully Cute
With Halloween this weekend I thought why not have a little freaky fun and make some Halloween projects. Today’s projects use the Frightfully Cute Bundle
This is such a fun little bundle with everything you’ll need to make your own Frightfully Cute Halloween projects.
Here’s what I’ve created for you today …
This is really the first year I have got into doing some projects for Halloween. I must admit I cant believe how much fun I am having making them. Let’s hope we have a couple of visitors at least to hand some out!
My Halloween Projects …
How cute are those Tombstone Treat boxes??
This one has a little extra creativity. I carefully removed the Headstone from one of the boxes and ran it through my Stampin Cut & Emboss machine with the Brickwall embossing folder. I then adhered it back on the box so you cant even tell where it tore in the removal. It’s also on a little crooked but again can you even tell?
To decorate the Treatbox I’ve cut two spider webs from our Dazzling Details Glimmer paper and affixed them to the box with multipurpose glue. My sentiment and spider is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and cut out with the awesome little label die. I’ve stamped two more spiders and just cut them out with my snips to attached to the webs.
How cool are the dies in the Frightful Tags dies pack? I couldnt resist making a card featuring the cute little owls …
Then there’s the hat … it’s so cute so had to cut one out and wasn’t sure if I’d use it but it looks cute on the owl! I used the circle die to cut a mask from a post-it note to create my moon. It’s then created using a blending brush with Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie inks. Once the moon was created it was a matter of adhering the die cuts and popping on the sentiment.
