Friendship is the Spice of Life!
This is one of the sentiments from the Gift from the Garden stamp set and when you think about it you realise how true that little statement is. It’s our friendships that build us up, make us strong and keep us going when times get tough.
I only purchased this set recently and I must say I did let out a little sigh of relief that it made it into the new catalogue.
Here’s my friendship card …
I love how this card turned out and all of the colouring was done with my Stampin’ Write Markers! They are great for colouring your stamps in different colours then stamping them and a cost effective way for anyone starting out stamping if you want lots of colours to start with.
Now while I have listed the family marker packs under the project supplies list here are the markers I used …
- Pumpkin Pie (Brights)
- Cajun Craze (Regals)
- Sahara Sand (Neutrals)
- Rose Red (Regals)
- Cucumber Crush (2015-2017 In Colors)
- Old Olive (Brights)
- Pear Pizzaz (Subtles)
- Smoky Slate (Neutrals)
- Soft Suede (Neutrals)
It’s quite easy to do you simply colour each section with your chosen colours, huff or breathe on the stamp to remoisten the ink then stamp. I call it my Darth Vader Technique! Have you tried this technique before? if not, I’d love to come and show you different ways you can use your markers and maybe help you get some for free!
This card reminds me of my Dad’s place and the garden Mum created when they moved in. Instead of planting things straight into the ground they opted for pots – this way things can be moved around when not in season or needing a little more sunlight. Marvellous idea don’t you think?
Thanks for stopping by today and remember to contact me if you need a new catalogue and haven’t arranged one yet. I’ll be posting them out this week!
See you latte ..
