Good Afternoon and welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop with the Latte Girls. This week’s we are creating projects to highlight our gorgeous Stampin’ Blends Markers …
I do love our Stampin’ Blends Markers. They can literally turn anyone into an artist!
These high-quality, alcohol-based, dual-tip markers come in our exclusive Stampin’ Up! colours. Each colour comes in 2 shades to give you the best blending experience and you can also blend them with other colours for a wonderful ombre or rainbow effect. I love that you can buy them separately or as a combo so if you tend to use one shade more than the other then you dont have to buy a two pack for that one colour.
For today’s project I’ve used my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends to create my background.
The trees were stamped onto Very Vanilla Cardstock in Early Espresso. It was easy to line them up using the Stamparatus and just sliding the plate along to the next hinge.
Once my Birch Trunks were stamped I coloured around them with my Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Marker. This makes those vanilla trunks pop! I think went over the lower section for a little darker shading. It gives such a lovely effect doesnt it?
I did also run the Mossy Meadow piece through the Big Shot with the Corrugated Dynamic Embossing Folder then simply brayered Early Espresso Ink over the corrugated parts to make it look aged and more defined. I liked the effect so much i added another corrugated piece under the sentiment.
The leaves were cut from Soft Sea Foam using the In the Woods Framelits.
I sure hope you like my card as much as the ladies in class did.
Thanks so much for stopping by and see you latte
