Freshly Brewed Projects with the Latte Girls BLog Hop

Big Shot Embossing Mats

Whatever you do, do not pass over these new Embossing Mats in the Catalogue!  It will be the best $26 you’ll spend!

Your Embossing Mats pack consists of three mats ..

  • thin Silicone (blue) mat
  • thick Silicone (grey) mat
  • White Impressions pad

While you use the White Impression Pad with either of the Silicone mats you will use the Silicone mats for different things.

  • Use the Thin Silicone Mat (blue) when embossing with your dies
  • Use the Thick Silicone Mat (grey) when embossing die cuts after cutting them out or with the Decorative Masks.

Yes now you can turn any die cut you have into and embossing shape/design on your cards – how cool is that? You’ve now just doubled the uses of all your thinlits and framelits!

Now I mentioned the Decorative Masks.  Look what you can do …

Now those Decorative Masks you got to use with your Embossing Paste you can now use with the Embossing Mats and add extra designs of texture to your all your projects.

Here’s three of the masks used with the mats ..

Watch it on Facebook Live …

Here’s my Facebook Live Video using the Decorative Masks with the Embossing Mats …

Fast Forward to 26:30 to see the demonstration of the Decorative Masks with the Embossing Mats.  You are welcome to watch the whole session if you wish.

The sandwich you need to emboss with the Decorative Masks is …

  1. Base Platform
  2. Cutting Mat
  3. Decorative Mask
  4. Cardstock/Paper
  5. Thick Silicone Mat (grey)
  6. Impressions Pad

You can also use the Thick Silicone Mat to emboss with dies after you’ve cut them out.  This is what I did with the Stitched Label framelit on my card …

You can see how the centre of my label now looks embossed or puffy.  I love that now my dies and masks now have more uses and not limited to their original use.

I do hope you’ve enjoyed all the wonderful ideas the girls have shared with you today and you take the opportunity to use these mats in your own projects.

Thanks for stopping by and see you latte ..
