Good Afternoon … welcome to another round of Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls …
Well I’ll be in for it from the others – I’m late again as I got a little involved in today’s projects!
This week’s task was to share a favourite from this year’s Saleabration products. This wasnt easy as I love them all but did decide to Highlight the Memories in the Making Project Life Specialty Card Collection.
Dont look like much there do they??
This little kit has 30 cards and overlays in it – yes 30! 10 6×4 cards and overlays and 20 3×4 cards and overlays. They are heaps of fun to use and they can be used for much more than Project Life!
How perfect is this card – the sentiment fits inside the dots perfectly and who doesnt want to do more of what makes you happy?? I do this every day with being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator!
This card I cased from one made by Rebecca Scurr – It uses one of the embossed cards behind the overlay which i think you can sort of see – hard to get it to show on a photo without a big flash glare on the acetate overlay. I’ve used the Birthday Sentiment from Party Wishes and the Ice cream cones from Honeycomb Happiness (another Sale-a-bration product) and then popped the Honeycomb Embellishments on top.
Yes I did do some Project Life layouts …
The layouts I’ve done today are all about our stop over in Albury on the way home from Christmas holidays with my family in Victoria. After having an ordinary dinner we decided it was too early to go back to the motel room so went exploring and found the lovely Botanical Gardens
I wanted to show you how cute the frame overlays can be with some journalling. I’m pretty impressed I managed to write straight too!
A couple of elements on this page I wanted to share …
Some of the overlays have a metallic finish and the above overlay is the same one – when you have gold on one side the underside will be silver! So you can now choose which one you prefer to use – bit cool hey!
I love this overlay … I wanted my daughter to be the focal point of this photo/pocket and with this Gold frame overlay she is! I even had room for a little journaling! She is quite a good photographer so I managed to snap this pic with my phone. I’ll share some of her pics another day.
Now I know this post was a long one but I wanted to share how very versatile this little Card Collection is and hope I’ve done that.
You’d better head over to the other blogs part of this hop before they realise how late I am with my post – be sure to leave them some comment love 🙂
Thanks for stopping by and see you latte …
Oh wow you out did yourself this time. Just love everything you’ve done. Super work
thanks … I just kept getting ideas and trying different overlays over pics … soo much fun! Need to do more Project Life 🙂
