Freshly Brewed Projects – Ways with Washi

Welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects with the Latte Girls Blog Hop!

I do hope you enjoy these blog hops each week as I know I love bringing them to you and seeing what the other Latte Girls make!

This week our theme is “Ways with Washi”.  I love Washi Tape and love how it’s easy to use and can add a little extra to your cards and how good is it for Project Life.

Today I’ve made two cards using Washi Tape…

How sweet are they?  I had so much fun making these cards!

This one uses the Warmth & Cheer Designer Washi Tape pack – it’s cool with it’s 5 different designs and I’ve simply used three as my ‘background’ accent on my card. I then stamped the tree from Peaceful Pines in Garden Green and popped it on top.  I’ve embellished my card with the delightful Metallic Enamel Shapes (these are on special in the Special Offers but be quick – they finish tonight!)

This one I’ve done using the Presents & Pinecones Designer Washi Tape pack. I love the bright colours in this pack.  My tree is from Greetings from Santa and the Sentiment is from the Tin of Tags stamp set – they are both punched out with the 1 3/4″ circle punch.  I’ve embellished with the enamel shapes again (did I mention they are 25% off in the Special Offers that finish today?)

Washi makes for awesome simple backgrounds and cards.

Should I mention that I originally bought these two packs of Washi from the Holiday Catalogue for my Christmas Gift Wrapping?  So much nicer than the store bought christmas sticky tape!

Now be sure to head over and see what Libby and Narelle have made this week – cant wait to see their projects!
