Freshly Brewed Projects – the Sweet Stuff

Good Afternoon and welcome to another round of Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls …

This week our theme is ‘Sweet Stuff’.

Now I had this project all planned to do tomorrow morning at then at around 3.49pm I realised that today is actually Wednesday and not Tuesday like I thought!  Not sure if it’s the holidays or the heat doing my head in but that’s my excuse.

So now that I only had an hour to do my project, photograph it, edit the photo’s and do the post I needed something quick and easy and then I remembered the cute little Treat Boxes my friend Paula shared the other day and thought they’d be perfect.

Well they would have been perfect if they hadn’t been so fun and addictive to make!  Here they are …

How cute are they?  Yes that’s a mini tictac container that fits perfectly inside.  They stand 6.5 cm high and you can find the tutorial at Jana Trautmann’s Blog.  Now Jana is a demonstrator in Germany but she does have the measurements in centimetres and you can watch her video to see how she assembles them.

I’ve used the papers from the Sending Love Designer Series Paper stack and my iddy biddy tags are made using some of the stamps from the new Sealed with Love Stamp Set

These sweet little boxes only take a piece of paper 10.7cm x 7.4cm so you can actually get 2 from one piece of 6×6 which is the size of our Paper Stacks or you could 8 out of a 12×12 sheet!

I do hope you liked today’s sweet little box and give them a try.

Dont forget to see what the other Latte Girls have created today.  We have a new Latte hopping with us today so be sure to give Sandie some comment love.
