Good afternoon and welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop!
This hop is for my team – the Latte Girls – to join in and create a project to share with you and inspire you to make a card or anything you’d like really!
This week we are creating with our “Favourite Retiring Product”. Well I thought that was a good one to choose and obviously it was before the Retiring List came out! There are so many favourites retiring this year and while it’s a little sad it’s also exciting as to how many new things will be in the new Catalogue!
I tried to decide on a stamp set and then I remembered … I remembered that the awesome Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack is retiring. This does make me sad as it’s such an awesome punch pack and that flower is great for adding accents to many projects and that heart is my favourite little heart as it has the funky shape to it. So that’s what I’ve decided to highlight today – it also just happens it coordinates with two of our retiring stamp sets so I’ve used those too!
That flower punch ….
I love that little flower punch and I wanted to share something bright, quick and easy and this card is that! Simply stamp your flowers in your chosen colours and punch them out to pop onto your card – I’ve used Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie. The flower is from Pictogram Punches and the sentiment is from Something to Say.
That heart punch …
I love that funky heart punch and I love purple so it was perfect to team them both up with Something to Say. My hearts are stamped in (and onto) Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant. The ribbon is Wisteria Wonder Seam Binding which also happens to be retiring. I’ve also used the Label Bracket Punch for behind my sentiment – and again that punch is retiring too!
That star punch ….
This card came from my ‘Holy Cheese’ card from last week and I’m calling it my Faux Shaker Card!
I’ve coordinated the star punch with my Star Framelits which I’m happy to say are not retiring! I’ve used the Pictogram punches along with Something to Say on this card and layered my stars so the open stars look a little like a shaker card – they even have rhinestones inside …
The ‘shaker’ pieces are rhinestone jewels and stars cut from the Sale-a-bration Metallic Tape using the Star Punch from the Itty Bitty Accents pack and the Confetti Stars Punch. I have to admit this one was fun to make!
I do hope you’ve liked my cards today and I have no doubt you’ll love what Libby and Narelle have made too! Be sure to pop over to their blogs and leave some comments for us all – we’d love to hear from you!
Thanks for stopping by today and see you latte ..
Super WOW, I would be hard pushed to choose which one I like the best. They are all dazzling in their own right. You never cease to amaze me with your creativeness in design and colour co -ordination.
Love, love, love all these cards. They are all so cute. And the faux shaker technique is really cool.
thanks Narelle 🙂 It is a bit cool … wonder if anyone else has thought of it
Love these cards Leonie. A lovely variety.
