Good afternoon … it’s time for another Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls …
This week we are using the lovely Painter’s Palette Stamp Set …
At first I wasnt keen on this set however the more I’ve used it the more I love it and it’s becoming a super versatile set!
Now I had this great idea for a card today however my printer wouldnt cooperate so I had to whip up a couple of other ideas for you. Today has been silly busy and hence my post is later than it should be but hope you like what I’ve created.
Firstly I have this ‘framed’ piece of art for you …
I love putting Sweet Sugarplum, Peekaboo Peach and Flirty Flamingo together but you may have already noticed that. I stamped my easel image direct to the card in crumb cake, then on a separate piece of white I stamped it again in Soft Suede. I wanted my frame to pop so the centre square I cut a “x” out and folded it so it would act like a real frame then on another smaller square I stamped my ‘swashes’ and the sentiment and slipped it into the frame. I also added the splatters on the ‘floor’ as one cant paint swashes without getting splats on the floor!
Now the paint stroke stamps and the splats are great for all sorts of creations ….
Yes … even Christmas Cards! This makes a super quick and easy Christmas Card! I’ve just used the different strokes in Pear Pizzazz and stamped them in a tree shape then the splat stamp I’ve stamped in Cherry Cobbler for the baubles and added some Rhinestones for the lights and popped a star on top! Too Easy! God’s gift of His Son to us truly was an Expression of Love dont you think?
I do hope you liked today’s cards and once my printer to chatting to me again I’ll share the other idea I have!
Now dont forget to do the Blog Hop and check out what the other Latte girls have created.
Thanks for stopping by and see you latte ..
