Freshly Brewed Projects – Cheers

Welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls ..

This week we are doing cards and projects with a ‘cheers’ theme and hope you like what we’ve made.

I’ve gone with a general ‘cheers’  and used the new Happy Celebrations Stamp Set with the Celebrations Duo Embossing Folders and have made a couple of cards for you.

First up this lovely tall Celebrate Card ..

This was one I cased from the new Occasions Catalogue and it’s quite easy to do and love how the debossed ‘celebrate’ pops as you work the stamps over the top.

I even worked out how to get those gorgeous little Sprinkles Embellishments on the card …

Simply dot the card with glue – I used Fine Tip Glue – and pop it in a tidy tray then empty the container of sprinkles over the top, press it down and leave for a couple of minutes and then shake off what doesnt stick and pop the excess back into the container!

Here’s another and think this one is my favourite …

I love how this one turned out.  I’ve used the long splatter from Happy Celebrations and inked up the stamp in Pool Party first then did the ‘rock n roll’ technique with Tempting Turquoise – I had a dauber handy to blend the edges of the colours so it wasnt a stark change in colour.   To get the look above you need to do the stamp about 3 or 4 times.

To finish off my card I simply added some Rhinestone Jewels and Enamel Shapes.

I hope you like these cards as much as I do – hubby was pretty impressed too!

Now dont forget to check out what Libby and Narelle have created for this week’s blog hop.
