Freshly Brewed Projects – 2014-2016 In Colours

Good Afternoon and welcome to another week of Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls!

This week we are designing with the 2014-2016 In Colors ..

These are wonderful colours and will be missed.  Now if you happen to want to get reinkers for your ink pads and cardstock in this range please do it this month – the in colour collection is always the first thing that is sold out and sometimes even before the Retirement List is announced.  Simply click on the image above to see the range and shop now.

I love the Number of Years Stamp Set and it was the perfect choice to showcase the In Colours.  Mossy Meadow for the stem and leaves, Blackberry Bliss for the Hyacinth flower and the daisies are done in Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon and Tangelo Twist.  The patterned paper is from the Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper pack.

I do so love this card and it’s one that was featured in the last Stampin’ Success Magazine from Stampin’ Up! – I’ve just changed the colours.  It uses the Vintage Leaves stamp set and Leaflet Framlits – it makes a quick card that’s for sure.  I have stamped the Hardwood background onto the Blackberry Bliss base card however it’s hard to see being so dark.  All the leaves are stamped in the same colour as the cardstock then cut with the framelits.  The sentiment comes from Suite Sayings.
