Good Afternoon and welcome to another round of Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls …
This week we are bringing you project with a ‘Travel’ theme – and who doesnt like to travel?
It’s only been the last few years that I’ve had the urge to get out and see of what is around – whether it be locally or internationally. If only I had the means to do more international travel! I have been blessed to do a couple of overseas trips – and all thanks to Stampin’ Up! and my wonderful customers!
I’ve been meaning to do more Project Life so thought today’s theme was the perfect opportunity!
I’ve started doing my first Grand Vacation which was in July 2013. It was a trip to Salt Lake City Utah and it was amazing! We got to attend the Stampin’ Up! Convention in Salt Lake City (Bucket List Item [wc_fa icon=”check” margin_left=”” margin_right=””][/wc_fa]) – it was amazing.
This was my first trip out of Australia so didnt really know what to expect but man was that flight a long one! It was 15 1/2 hours from Sydney to Los Angeles and then we had to find our way through customs and to the terminal for our next flight onto Salt Lake City – I’m so glad we had a couple of hours to spare between the flights.
When we got to Salt Lake City we had such a lovely surprise – there were Stampin Up welcome banners all over the place. It was their 25th Anniversary so this Convention was going to be huge – and it was! There were 6,500 Demonstrators at that Convention!
Now did you know the new 12×12 Variety Packs have these half sheets and there’s also some 3/4 ones! It makes for an cool way to do your layouts and present your memories. This one is like a forerunner page for this amazing trip we went on. I have many many more pages to do and will share them as they are done.
I am planning to hold a monthly Project Life Class. You can come and do a page or you can buy a bundle and do heaps. If you’d like more information on that please leave a comment and let me know so I can contact you when it’s been arranged.
Now be sure to check out what the others have done …
Now be sure to leave a comment on all the blogs today doing the Freshly Brewed Projects as I have a little Mystery Gift for one lucky hopper!
I best be off as hubby is taking me out to dinner for our 31st Wedding Anniversary. Thanks for stopping by and see you latte …
Love seeing your Project Life page. It’s nice to see something other than cards. I must do more Project Life. Congrats on your Anniversary too.
