Welcome to another round of Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls …

Thanks for stopping by and I do hope you like today’s project.

The brief for this week was ‘Projects with Pockets’.

There are many different projects that you can make with pockets and for today’s post I’ve made a Criss Cross Pocket Card using Santa’s Sleigh Bundle.

This is a fun card to make and I love this Bundle for its sweet images and sentiments and all things are so much nicer to create with when you have framelits to cut them all out with.

The Paper Pack I’ve used for this card is the Presents and Pinecones – it has such sweet designs and gorgeous rich colours.

To ‘open’ the card you simply pull the insert out.  I added the wreath and bow to the top as a tab to make it easier to pull the insert out.

I hope you like this card – it’s a lot of fun to make and colour and I loved making it.

Now be sure to pop over to Libby’s and Narelle’s blogs to see what they’ve created with pockets.

Thanks again for stopping by …

    1. Hi Patty … thank you for your kind words. I’m not sure where you are located so if you are in USA or Canada your sizes will be different. I took a sheet of A4 and cut in half lengthwise so the card was 297mm x 105mm. I then scored at 99mm from each end and cut a diagonal on the outside panels so when folded it makes the criss cross at the front. I’m thinking this may be a little confusing and I’ll try to do a tutorial the week of 10th November as I’m off to On Stage on Tuesday and wont have time before then.
