Good Afternoon and welcome to another week of Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls. This week we are includes ‘Frames’ in our projects.
Frames
Using frames in your projects can add all sorts of dimension and interest into your projects. You can frame an image or just add a frame as the focal part and using our Layering dies makes making a frame super easy!
We’ve also got frame images in stamp sets but for today’s project I thought I’d use the frames from the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper pack.
It’s a gorgeous pack of paper featuring gorgeous blooms actually created from photo’s of real fresh blooms!
Here’s the paper I chose to use today featuring some natural frames ..
Here are the cards I made for you …
My first card features the rectangle frame and I’ve just layered it on Smokey Slate and Petal Pink cardstocks. Now these are smaller than our regular cards to fit to the size of the frame.
The sentiment is from the Varied Vases Stamp Set and stamped in Tranquil Tide. I’ve finished off my card by adding a few of the Share What you love Artisan Pearls.
My second card uses one of the round frames or wreath images. I love how it even has the shadow there so it looks layered. I simply layered it onto Grapefruit Grove and then a Blushing Bride Card Base.
I’ve added some versarmark leaves to the card base for a bit of interest and depth and a simply Linen Thread Bow to the wreath. The sentiment comes from the ribbon of courage stamp set.
If you are after super quick, easy and pretty cards you really cant go past the Petal Promenade Papers! It was simply a matter of adhering the pieces, stamping a sentiment and you were done! Super quick and Super easy!
