Good Afternoon and welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop with the Latte Girls. This week we are creating with the lovely Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set.
Dandelion Wishes
I love the Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set! What the fascination with this sweet flower is I am not sure but they’ve been a favourite of mine since I was a little girl. I loved blowing the wispy seed heads to see how far they’d go and how many stayed. I cant remember now what the exact folklore we believed at the time but vaguely remember the number that stay was how many children you’d have. Do you recall what you believed the remaining number was?
They are amazing little plants that literally grown anywhere and most consider them a weed. My sister affectionately calls them her ‘lawn daisies‘!
Here’s my card for you today …
It was a lot of fun to make this card and the ladies loved it at class.
First I created the background using one of the splatters from the Artisan Textures Stamp Set. I stamped it randomly in Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove and Melon Mambo till my layer was covered.
Next I stamped the group of Dandelions in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink across the bottom. My sentiment is stamped onto vellum then layered onto So Saffron cardstock strip and layered on my card. I finished my card tying a bow with the Whisper White Polka Dot RIbbon.
This card is one of my featured cards in this month’s Latte Card Club – you can find out how to join here
