How good would it be if you could just skip all this cold ikky weather and just fast forward to Spring??
Well if youre anything like me youre a little over the rain! Here in Sydney I think it has rained since last Autumn! Â When you’ve been in a drought for so long its great to have enough rain to fill up your dams from 8% to 101% isnt it … well until they have to let the gates down and what isnt already flooded becomes flooded!
I suppose that saying ‘be careful what you wish for’ does have some truth in it! Â So if you live on the Eastern side of Australia please stay safe and dont take any risks 🙂
Now I did mention a free pass didnt I?? Â a bit on that later!
Here’s a card I actually made a few weeks ago and is actually a case from one made by Jo Dumbleton
This card feels like it is Spring bursting out and saying hello!!

Lovely card Leonie…..and I’m too late for a Spring memory (for the competition) but I do love all the flowers and everything to do with nature in Spring. I also had a Spring baby.
My spring memories as a child was staying with my grandfather in the holidays in Toowoomba and seeing all the flowers in bloom and playing in Queens Park with my sister. Now I still enjoy the change in weather and all the baby animals being born and plants blooming. Thanks Leonie you are a wonderful inspiration for everyone.
Hi Leonie
My favourite spring memory would be from the September school holidays when I was about 10. We went camping down to Point Anne with some friends. I remember us counting the whales at breakfast time and all through the day as they played just of shore. Making sand castles at the beach and just having loads of fun. Such a nice fun carefree time and so pretty a setting.
I so enjoy your blog, thanks for sharing your inspiration with us.
My favourite spring memory is from the first year we moved to Canberra and experienced 4 real seasons for the first time. There was a large grass area across the road from our house and it was covered in little yellow daisies, so my daughter and I went over and picked some and made our first ever daisy chains. Now spring is one of my faviourite times ever each year seeing the buds apeparing on the trees, the bulbs flowering in the garden. Just love it.
Cheers
Monique

I would say that my favourite spring memory would just have to be the smell of all the new flowers each and every spring. And the smell of rain after its been hot, to cool everything down with a spring shower.
My fav spring memory is when my sister and I made tunnels through the dandelions and our parents had no idea where we were, less than a 1metre away and they couldn’t see us! Was great fun and I’ve never ever seen dandelions that tall ever since!
Wishing you all the best on your adventure with Gettin Crafty!
I don’t know abt a fave Spring memory….but I know a distant Spring memory is one without hayfever!!! My Son was born in Spring…the 5th day of the Sydney Olympics….so I guess there are some fond ones in amongst all the other bits!!
I have two favourite Spring Memories…the first would be when I married my wonderful hubby and the second would be my daughters birthday – 18th September – awesome birth date don’t you think? 😉 She’s my little spring lamb!
Fav spring memory? Well that would have to be hand bottle feeding baby spring lambs at a farm when i was about 7yo. Gosh i love little lambies there just so darn cute.
After the weekend storms, no power for 2 days, very uncomfortable cows then just coming right and my nana passing I feel like I would love a free pass to anything at the moment.
Ooh and forgot to add that one of my most favourite Spring memories is when I was younger watching all the Easter shows on tv, and colouring in hard boiled eggs in brightly coloured textas in class at school to prepare for Easter… I love Easter crafts still to this day. =)
Seeing as my mojo took itself on holidays (and has since not returned!), a free pass to gain me some momentum would be looooovely! =D
Your blog looks awesome Leonie, my blogspot retired a while ago, another thing I need to fix up! xx
