Forever Gold

This week we are working with Metallics. So our Brushed Metallic Cardstock or Foil Papers. I’ve used the lovely Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper …

Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper

How lovely are all those designs and elements in that pack? You get frames, wreath, labels and a few different leaf designs! Each pack contains 6 sheets – 3 each of 2 designs (one is frames and the other is the rest!) Being Laser-Cut all you need to do is press them out and create!

Here’s a card I made using one of the pieces and the lovely Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper and the Forever Fern Stamp Set

I do love how this card turned out. The patterned strips of Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper is just enough to add dimension yet not take away from the gorgeous Gold Foil layer.

I have added one of our gold hoops around the sentiment as well. It was a little tricky affixing it to the card. I did manage to adhere some glue dots behind where the ribbon is threaded on. Plus I stretched the glue dots and affixed them to the back of the hoop.

I added some of our metallic gold pearls to finish off my card. It sets the background piece and the fine gold bow off perfectly.

Let’s go hopping …

Now it’s time to see what my crafty friends have created for you today ….

If you like my card today and the Forever Greenery papers I’ve used you may like to check out the Designer Series Paper Sale (click here). You can save 15% on selected packs until 31st October. The Forever Greenery pack happens to be one of the packs on sale!
