For the Guys

I am always asked for male or masculine themed projects. Not sure why but they seem to be hard to create for? So today our projects are for the Guys in our lives. It just so happens it’s my hubbies birthday today!

In 2018 I earned the Alaskan Cruise Incentive Trip and this happened to be hubbies first trip overseas. I think I may have spoiled him a little as a lot of the trip was paid for by Stampin’ Up! He loved the gorgeous landscape and scenery of Alaska and Canada. It wasnt hard then to work out what stamp set to use for his card today.

Mountain Air Bundle

I used the gorgeous Mountain Air Stamp Set. Mountains, Trees and leaves are always a great ‘go to’ for masculine cards. I also love that this is a reversible stamp set. This means I can flip the stamp and use the back as a background/solid image and then flip it back over for the detailed stamp!

Actually, the first time I saw this Stamp Set I knew I had to have it! It’s perfect for cards like this and has been great to use in my Alaska Scrapbooking pages!

Hubby was amazed at the colour of the water over there. The colour comes from the melting of the Glaciers and the minerals settling in the bottom of the lakes.

The colour and clearness of the water is truly amazing! Even though we were there at the end of summer we were amazed at the snow still on the mountains.

Since it’s hubbies birthday I figured I should make his card special and include an insert …

Those trees were perfect to go along the base of the insert. Of course he’s awesome … and will be at any age!

I hope you like the card I’ve created today.

Let’s go hopping …

Now it’s time to see what my friends have created for you today ….

How cool were all those projects? I do hope you found some inspiration to create some cards for your fella’s. If you need any help or have questions please dont hesitate to ask.

Thanks for stopping by …

  1. It was such a great trip, and I was so happy to get the opportunity to meet you in person. This card really does remind me of Alaska! Beautiful job.

  2. Beautiful memories of a beautiful place and you’ve captured it so well with all those layers of stamping. Hope Neil had a lovely birthday. xo
