Last Thursday I shared the Mini Gift Pouches we made in the ‘For Mum’ class last Sunday and today I have the other two projects we made as part of this class.
I so love the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper and the Painted Petals Stamp Set – can you tell?
The card was quick and easy and a sweet 10.5cm square card (or 4×4 on the old Imperial system).
It’s the perfect size to go with this gorgeous Winged Gift Box!
This box is uber stylish and looks a bit tricky but really is quite easy when you know how! I followed the tutorial from Heidi Smith from the UK. I can see me making more in different sizes as well.
So why is it called a Winged Cube Box? Well the cube part is easy and the wings? well this is what it looks like when its open …
Told you it was stylish!
Now remember the other day when I talked about the Retiring Products List? and I said to get your orders in early as things will sell out quickly? Well yeah .. things are selling out quickly so be sure to check the Retiring products link regularly for what has sold out.
How stunning is that flower? and there are more flowers I didnt even use in this die – did I mention it’s currently half price? Yep if you buy it now you will pay just $32.97 .. that’s half price and less than I did for mine! It’s a gorgeous die and if you use a lot of flowers in your crafting it would be a great investment!
Now did you notice there’s no sentiment on the box? That’s because you dont have to give this just for Mother’s Day – it could be for any gift giving occasion you want a gorgeous gift box for – one that the recipient will be amazed you made and maybe like it a little more than the gift inside 😉 I mean .. who wouldnt? Unless of course the gift was keys to a new car or something like that!
Speaking of Mother’s Day – it’s literally just weeks away – 2 and a bit – so be sure you become the ‘favourite’ and get Mum some discounted crafting goodies or if you arent sure what she’d like arrange a Gift Voucher from me – she’ll get bonus dollars to spend!
Thanks for stopping by today and see ya latte …
