Good Morning!
Hope you had a wonderful long Anzac Weekend – I love that we celebrate those who went before us and fought for their country, their families and our freedom! I did have some soldiers in my family and while they are no longer with us and am so thankful for their service and cant imagine the things they had to endure – one uncle was a POW so really can not imagine what he saw, heard or witnessed.
Today’s card uses two retiring sets – For All Things and An Open Heart …
I do admit I made this card a while ago but it was never shared on my blog so I have it here for you today.
I love the background technique I’ve used here and it’s a little like a faux watercolour background and done with stamps, inks, daubers and a water spritzer! It does give a lovely look dont you think? I think I will have to incorporate this into my Techniques to Go Classes.
The Bird is from An Open Heart Stamp set and one I’m sad to see retire – this one is still available in wood however the clear has been sold out. You can pick this one up at 15% off the Catalogue price.
For all Things is also available at 15% off the Catalogue price and available in both wood and clear.
If you are planning to order either or both of these please don’t leave it too long as many items are selling out quickly.
Now I have a little extra special for you this week … anyone who places an order will go in the draw to win this Hip Hip Hooray Card Kit valued at $34.95!
All orders qualify and you simply need to have your order in and paid for by 30th April – it’s that easy! You can shop online by clicking the button below or contact me to place your order!
