It’s another FABulous Saturday and time for a FAB Stampers post. It’s Jeanne’s turn this week, and she’s used the Flowering Tulips Bundle for her 3 Panel Card.

From Jeanne’s Stampin’ Studio
Today I’m using the Flowering Tulips Bundle to create a 3-Panel Fun Fold card. This card is surprisingly easy to make, and it folds flat for mailing.

3-Panel Fold
The 3-Panel Fun Fold is so easy to make. First, cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry cardstock to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ or 14cm x 21.5cm. I scored it on the long side at 2″, 3 1/8″, 5 3/8″, and 6 1/2″ or 6cm, 8cm,13.5cm and 15.5cm. Fold the two score lines closest to the center back (mountain fold) and fold the two outside score lines forward (valley fold). That’s it! Now you’re ready to decorate the panels.

To decorate the panels, I cut two Basic White pieces to 2″ x 5 1/4″ or 5cm x 13.5cm, and two pieces of the beautiful Flowering Fields DSP (Designer Series Paper) to 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ or 5cm x 13.5cm.
I attached the two pieces of DSP to the front outside panels, but before adhering the Basic White piece to the center front panel, I embossed it with the Meadow Moments Embossing Folder. I adhered the second piece of Basic White to the back center panel as a place to write a message (not shown).

The Details …
I stamped the leaves in Evening Evergreen on Soft Succulent cardstock and cut them out, along with the stem using the coordinating Tulips Dies. After gluing the stem to the Basic White panel, I ran the leaves between my thumb and bone folder to loosen the fibers. That gave them a bit of a curve. Then I added a tiny bit of glue to each end of the leaves and a Dimensional to the center. Next, I adhered them, leaving the center of the leaves popped up for a bit more dimension.
I cut the tulip pieces from Fresh Freesia cardstock using the Tulips Dies and used my Blending Brush to add Rich Razzleberry ink to the bottom of the pieces. I adhered the inside pieces with glue dots and used a Mini Dimensional for the front flap piece.
The birthday greeting was stamped on Basic White and cut with a die from the Ornate Frames Dies. Finally, I added Rhinestone Basic Jewels colored with my Fresh Freesia Blends to finish it off.
