Favourite Holiday

If you are like me you love Holidays! I know currently our Holiday’s will now look a lot different than in the past.

With Easter this weekend my oldest and I were meant to be travelling to Victoria(today actually) to spend time with my Dad and give my sister a bit a of break. That wont be happening now with all the social distancing and not allowed to travel interstate. It’s very frustrating and disappointing but we all need to do what we can to prevent the spread of this horrid virus.

Now talking about holidays. ‘Holiday’ can make us think of many different things. We could think Christmas, Easter, New Year or a particular religious Holiday we observe or it could also be related to a Vacation.

One of my favourite holidays – well vacations – was the Incentive Trip I earned being an Alaskan Cruise. I love these trips as it means I get to see the world and all thanks to Stampin’ Up! Being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator gives me the option to earn these trips if I put in the work – and trust me when I say it takes a lot of work to earn these trips!

The Alaska trip was a little extra special as we spent some time before the cruise with my dear friend Susan and her hubby Ron. Then afterwards .. my gosh .. not only did I get to spend time with my dear friend Sandi and her hubby but they took us on a road trip to Banff and Jasper National Parks. I fell in love with a little lake called Moraine Lake!

Moraine Lake Memory Layout

Here’s a 12×12 layout I completed today …

Sandi now refers to Moraine Lake as ‘Onie’s Lake’!

Now those photo’s have not been edited in any way. The water literally is that blue! The blueness comes from the Rock Sediments (or Rock Flour) that is washed down as the Glaciers melt. It’s truly an awe inspiring place to visit and could have spent a lot more time there.

Did you noticed I made a Memory Layout?? It’s not my usual thing and could probably use some work. My Alphabet dies are packed away so will do a proper title when time permits.

The trees are stamped in Granny Apple Green with the tree stamp from Waterfront. I’ve also added ‘water’ by brayering first in Pool Party, then Coastal Cabana and the a little extra in Bermuda Bay.

Maybe with the social distancing and the #stayathome directive I might get more Memory Layouts done and improve on those skills. By the way, that #stayathome directive I’m changing to #stayathomeandstamp – I do hope you’ll join me in using that hashtag.

Now let’s go hopping …

Today’s Latte Girls hopping are …

I do hope you enjoyed today’s projects and found something to inspire you to #stayathomeandstamp.
