It’s a Family thing

So last night after dinner Caitie wanted to make some Christmas cards. Usually she just picks up a box from Aldi or the Discount store so it was really nice to have her want to make some this year –  little does she know how this makes my heart happy.

So I handed her a pack of the Stampin’ Up! notecards and showed her some of mine and off she went …

She needed little guidance and even designed one or three of her own …

Merry – Seasonally Scattered
Very Special – Chalk Talk
Merry Everything
Cheerful Christmas

She’s very arty and has lately been teaching herself calligraphy so I had to show you her envelopes …

I think she did an awesome job for her first handmade Christmas cards and I’m really sure everyone enjoyed the gold glitter she placed inside!  She still has to clean up the evidence off my desk!

Today the girls finished school so hoping I can get them into doing some Project Life Albums over the holidays.

Thanks for stopping by … and I’d love it if you left a comment for Caitie on her cards.
