Welcome to the ESAD Retirement List Blog Hop!
ESAD Retirement List Blog Hop
It’s that time of the year again when the Retirement List is released and there’s a mad rush to get those products retiring that are still on your wish list! For today’s ESAD Retirement List Blog Hop I’ve used the uber gorgeous Petal Passion Memories & More Card Pack.
It’s Mother’s Day in a couple of weeks here in Australia so I’ve created some pretties for Mum … or your favourite female …
This is a sweet frame for Mum … or your Grandma or any other friend for that matter. Using the cards from the Petal Passion Memories & More Card Kit made this framed piece quick and easy. I’ve added some die cuts from the Sunshine Wishes framelits pack and sentiments from Friendship’s Sweetest Thoughts. The Clear Wink of Stella added to the diecut ‘love’ and heart gives it the required bling.
I’ve also created some cards to gift using the Petal Passion Memories & More Card Kit …
This first card is watercoloured with our classic inks and is on a Mint Macaron Card Base. Yes the Mint Macaron is returning to our Core Colours!! So happy about that! The white organza ribbon is the perfect addition to my card. Now if you love that ribbon as much as I do – stock up! Yes it’s retiring 31st May!
This card started with the 3×4 card and I coloured the flowers with the Pink Pirouette, Light Pool Party and Light Old Olive Stampin Blends. The sentiment is off another 3×4 card which I just trimmed off and flagged the end. Layered my cards on Black then Powder Pink. I then found one of the 4×6 cards for my background. The card is then finished off with a Shimmery Pink Ribbon bow. After cutting the sentiment off for the last card I flipped the remain of the card over and found this gorgeous floral edge. It fits perfectly on another 3×4 card with the Powder Pink background and white dots! A simple Thank You was the perfect sentiment. That little floral edge matches the Petal Pair Embossing Folders which was done on Whisper White then placed on the Powder Pink card base. The black shimmery ribbon is the perfect match on this card and the shimmer in the ribbon just sparkles!
I do hope what I’ve made to share with you today. These are the projects that were made in today’s “For Mum” class and the ladies loved them! They have leftover Petal Passion Memories & More Cards to make into more cards or to use in their Memories & More Albums!
