Here we are again at yet another Saturday!
I do love Saturday mornings and being able to sleep in … and yes only 3 more sleeps till the kids go back to school!
Here is this weeks Sketch
I must admit that I wasn’t too keen on this one and still not entirely sure about it.
The card I made for this one did not come out like I’d thought it would and still not sure about it and here it is ….
I’ve used the Good Morning Sunshine Designer Series Papers and the Cheep Talk stamp set. Miss E says its a great card and sometimes you just gotta listen to the nearly 10 year olds!
This is the first time I’ve used this set and I think I need some more practice with it! I loved it when I first saw it and now I’m not so sure.
Now as I was starting this post I remembered the card my lovely down-line Vicki had made with the baby in the wrap and thought it would look great on this card with some pretty pink prints behind it.
A dear friend and fellow demonstrator had a little baby girl this past week so not only did I do another card for the challenge but I also made the card for my friend.
I must say I am much happier with this card than the first one.
It could be the colours or the papers I’ve used but how cute is this little baby?
Its just done using the scalloped circle punch and the 1″ circle punch and some ribbon – easy as! The sentiment is from God’s Blessings – I love that set for that awesome sayings it has.
The patterned papers are from the Level 1 Hostess Patterns Pack II Designer Series Paper. Its a pad of 6×6 patterned prints in five different colours and a great pack for card making.
I hope you like today’s cards and would love to see you make a card for this sketch. If you do please make sure you comment here with a link to your card.
Have a great Saturday and remember to take some time for YOU!
I think the first card is lovely and cheery (so I agree with Miss E)! I think the second card is cute too.
Great cards, Leonie! I’m impressed that you made not one but two. I like the stamp set, colors and paper you used on the first card. The little baby is adorable!
great cards leonie, but the baby card is my favorite. in fact, i need a boy baby and may have to case it!
xoxo
Both cards are great – but I love the little baby! How cute!
Well I like the first card and the second. I hope your friend and her bub are doing well. What a thoughtful person you are to make such a lovely card for your friend
Both are great, Leonie! You rock!
I think they both are cute! What a unique way to use our punches on the baby! Love them both.
I think your card is just lovely, Leonie. I like that stamp set and will probably have to buy it when I get the money.
Very nice!
Oh Leonie – You are being way too hard on yourself! Both of these cards are cute – darling – perfect! I love both of them! Renee
