Yes its Saturday again and that means another Diva Sketch Challenge! dsc46

Miss Carol is being a bit tricky with her sketch challenges with adding a new dimension in challenging us to ‘only use Designer Series Paper – no stamping except for the sentiment’!

Is she kidding?? and look – there’s circles!!

So I got to thinking … I can change them there circles to flowers!

DSC46-BirthdayFlowersThen I thought now the Tea Party Designer Series Papers has lovely flowers and I havent used it in a while and with the pinks, purples, green and yellow it makes for a lovely spring card!

So here’s what I came up with – not my usual style but thats what challenges are about are they not?

Yes there is lots of cutting! If you’ve been to one of my classes or demonstrations you will know that enjoy cutting images out and once I started with this one the ideas kept coming so that meant I had to cut out more and more flowers!

DSC46-BirthdayFlowersSideOnThe larger two flowers are layered with the dimensionals and the image below shows you this with the photo taken slightly side on.

The celery ribbon I’ve used on this card is one of the rolls you’ll get for free when you place an order of $100 or more during September.

Remember, you dont have to attend a class or demonstration to place an order – just email or ring me with your order and we will discuss payment options as I do take credit card or you can do a bank transfer direct into my account. You can also send me a cheque or money order however these need to wait for clearance before I can place your order.

  1. Way cute Lonie! I really love the Tea Party designer paper! The colors are really pretty – you did a great job with the flowers!

  2. Stunning!!! i knew you could do it even if you weren’t feeling well. you did an awesome job leonie and i’m so happy you recovered in time to play this week.

(besides, if i didn’t throw in a little extra it would get boring after a while)

thanx for being part of the team. love ya ~ carol.
