Good Afternoon and thanks for joining us on another Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop with the Latte Girls. This week we are creating with the gorgeous Distinktive Stamps.

Distinktive Healing Hugs
I do love the new Distinktive Stamps from Stampin’ Up! This new design of stamps results in a perfect realistic stamping every time. They were designed by taking an image from a photograph.
For my card today I’ve used the gorgeous Healing Hugs Stamp Set.

I love how easy it is to get such a lovely image from these stamps. The rose has so much depth and definition just from inking it up and stamping it. Same with the leaves.
I stamped my main rose in Blackberry Bliss and the leaves are done in Old Olive.
My background piece was stamped in Highland Heather and the leaves in Pear Pizazz. The rose on the background piece is 2nd generation stamping.
I wanted to give my card a vintage feel so I ran my background piece through the Big Shot with the new Subtle embossing folder after stamping.

You can see the definition this new embossing folder gives. It’s like an antique piece of linen!
Thanks so much for stopping by today and hope you’ll give these new Distinktive Stamps a try.
