Diorama Card

A Diorama Card can be a super special one when received. Creating these cards are fairly easy to create but can be made as involved or detailed as you like.

Here’s my card for today’s Blog Hop

Oh my gosh … I had so so much fun creating this card! Well after I worked out the sizing for the base and dividers!

If you are considering getting the We’ll Walrus Be Friends set – do it! It’s so cute and so fun to work with! I’m glad I got it for my Fun & Funky class this Sunday.

I used the High Seas 3D Embossing Folder to create my waves of water. I just ran some Balmy Blue through then cut one piece up to create the layers and depth.

Here you can see the 3 layers and how I spaced out the waves.

I stamped and white embossed the fun sentiment then snipped it up to adhere to my frame. I didnt want the sentiment covering up any of the fun on my card!

The best thing about making a Diorama Card is that they are assembled in such a way that you can still post them flat!

I love that if I want to send this to someone I can without it costing me a small fortune in postage.

I will have a tutorial for you – I just ran out of time to get this post done by the deadline. If you’d like the tutorial be sure to comment with your email address so I can email it to you when it’s done. In the meantime you can follow this tutorial over at Splitcoast Stampers by my sweet friend Diana Gibbs.

This card will be included in Sunday’s Fun & Funky Card Class. If you are local and would like to come along be sure to contact me to reserve your seat!

Let’s go hopping …

Now it’s time to hop around and see what the Latte Girls have made for you today using the Feels Like Frost Suite …

I do hope you enjoyed all the Inspiration in today’s Blog Hop. Remember to leave a comment so the girls know you stopped by.

See you latte ..
