Well yesterday my big girl didnt last long at her first day of High School – I had to pick her up after 2 hours as she was feeling rather sick – too many nerves I think but today she’s back and so far so good ;)Â She’s made new friends and can you believe there are three girls in her class all with the same name! Hopefully today I will have the whole day to myself!
This calendar is one that I started before I went away on holidays – I had hoped to give a few as Christmas presents but that wasnt meant to be as I just had too much to do before we left. I can still send them on as ‘just because’ gifts.
So here’s the cover
Here are all the pages that make up the calendar
As you can see I’ve tried to make the months in colours that suite the season they are in – not always easy when most things Christmas have snow on them and well Christmas in Australia is rather hot!
I hope you like this little calendar and I will be running a class for this on 25th February and as my house is small places are limited to ring and book in today!
Another gorgeous project! I love the way you teamed the colours/papers to the seasons! Just perfect!!!
Hi Leonie,
I so love these little calanders. How cute. Thanks for sharing.
Philippa
Really like the idea wish i could do the class.
Gorgeous calendar Leonie!! You clever thing you! I hope Caitlyn made it all day today and that is fabulous that she has already made a friend!! Steph x
Very nice little calendars. Glad Caitlyn is better today – more kids at school today. I hope all went well
Gorgeous as always, Leonie! Wish I lived closer so I could come to your class…Melbourne is just a little far away! Thanks for sharing. xx
Oh poor Caitie! From now on she’ll probably love it though – hopefully! Love the calendar and maybe it’s a good thing that the December one has snow and that might cool us down a little – in thought anyway.
Beautiful calendar! Makes me hope there’s another coaster bulk buy coming up in the Late Night Stampers group soon so I can make one of these!
It’s been awhile since I looked at your blog, so I’m grabbing me a cuppa coffee and seeing what else you’ve been up to!
I am so v v sorry to hear of the hiccup on her first day. Onwards and upwards fm here tho. Funny story….when I was in yr 10…3 girls in my Commerce class all shared the same name…and to differentiate the teacher wanted to use our middle names…and THEY were all the same too!!! We ended up being called by our hair colours…brown, blonde and red!!
The coaster calender is wonderful Leonie…and a great gift idea. Love the way you have tried to make the DSP seasonal too. Need SU to do some hot Chrissy papers for Down Under!!
