I suppose you dont want me to tell you thats its just 6 months till Christmas do you?? mmm didnt think so!
I do a regular Stamp A Stack for my sister and she has at least one Christmas card each time as this way by the time Christmas comes around she’ll have a nice supply of Christmas cards and wont get the ‘Christmas Overload’ before it actually gets here!
Last week we made these two cards …
I love these cards and the simple design – makes for a lovely ‘queasy’ Christmas Card! All you need to create these lovelies is one stamp set, 3 colours in cardstock, 2 inks, one roll of ribbon and markers – too easy!
I love the funky designs in the Punch Pals stamp set and these cards are even easy enough for the kids to do too!
I love this tree!
I’ve just stamped the image in Jet Black Stazon then using my Stampin Write Markers I use the fine point and fill in the outline of the stamp. I then use my handy Aqua Painter to pull the colour to the centre of the image.
So So Easy!
Who doesnt love a cute snowman card at Christmas?
Sample clean & simple layout just change the image!
Again I’ve stamped in Jet Black Stazon and then used my Stampin’ Write markers to colour the outline of the image. I find you really cant beat Tempting Turquoise for snow!
Now when you pull the colour from the images and you find there’s not enough colour just grab your Classic Ink Pad and squish the pad before opening and then use the ink from the inside of the lid to add a little more colour with the Aqua Painter. Be sure to water the ink down as you dont want it too dark and spoiling the subtlety of the image.
To do this just give your Aqua Painter a squeeze to let some water through and then just mix it with the ink on the lid. Now if its real watery be sure to soak up the excess water with a tissue or paper towel before closing your pad – you dont want to water down the ink pad!
I love these two cards and I havent even done a penguin one yet – bet remedy that I think!! I lurv penguins 🙂
I hope you like these Christmas cards and if you’d like to do these at a Workshop or Stamp A Stack then please dont hesitate to contact me to book in your date!
I’ve started my Christmas cards but haven’t done any more for a while – need to get a hop on!
These are v v cute Leonie and I can imagine the smile they would bring. I am suitably impressed in that you have got the Chrissy cards under way….putting those of us to shame who struggle to get to the next b’day…LOL!!! I have not coloured this way before. Did you use WW or H20 paper?? Either way it looks fantastic. So well done.
