I mentioned in my earlier post about ‘my favourite Christmas Card’ I’d made.
There’s a bit of a story to this one ….
For last weekend’s Stamp A Stack at my sisters house she’d asked for the Dove Card in the Idea Book and Catalogue for the Wish for Peace stamp set and no matter what I did I couldnt get a nice result with the card. So I apologised to her and said it was all good as I’d made another card using the Dove stamp.
This is what I came up with …. the first time.
I just love these papers from the Ski Slope Designer Series Paper pack in the Spring Mini Catalogue. I love the baja breeze and the white swirls and flowers in the design. The stripe panel works well in breaking up all the baja breeze in this card and the olive is a great contrast.
Now as I was finishing off this card another patterned paper caught my eye and you’ll be glad to know that its from the same Ski Slope Designer Series Pack.
I love both of these cards but I think the second one is my favourite with that gorgeous red pattern in it.
Recipe
Stamps: Wish for Peace, Snow Swirled, Priceless
Inks: Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze
Paper: Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Ski Slope DSP, Red Ridinghood, Old Olive
Accessories: Two-way glue pen, Dazzling Diamonds, White Grosgrain ribbon, stampin dimensionals.
I do hope you like these cards as much as I do and if you would like to do these at your Christmas Stamp A Stack then contact me today to book your date in!
Well done Leonie. Did your sister like them?
Absolutely adorable. Love the idea. I was thinking of doing the same thing but yours just looks amazing.
thanks for sharing.

Leonie,
I agree that the second version of the Christmas Dove is prettiest with more red on it. Of course, I wouldn’t refuse either as they are both beautiful.
