Cherish the Season

Good Afternoon! Today we are creating with Bells or Baubles for this week’s Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop. I’ve used the gorgeous Cherish the Season Bundle for my project.

Cherish the Season

Have you noticed the Cherish the Season Bundle from the Mini Catalogue yet? No? Then I suggest you grab your catalogue, flip over to page 33 and take another look!

This bundle was one that grabbed my eye when I first got the catalogue. I love the bell stamp images plus the embossed die cuts as well

Today I’ve made a fun Easel Card …

I love making Easel Cards as they are easy (or should I say easel-y) to do and are just that little bit special.

The sentiment I’ve used comes form the Cherish the Season Stamp Set. The dies and frame I’ve used are from the Ornate Frames Dies pack.

The layered sentiment on the inside of the card works at the easel stop. It’s best to put dimensionals between these layers to give you height for your front panel to sit against.

You start your card with a standard sized card base. I made mine with a tall A5 card. My card base is 10.5cm x 29.7cm. The card base is scored at 9cm and 14.8cm.

When your recipient opens their envelope this is how your card will look …

Looks like a regular card doesnt it? so yes it will also lie flat and fit in a C6 envelope for easy giving or posting.

Let’s go hopping …

Now it’s time to see what my crafty friends have created for you today using the Baubles or Bells theme ..

How lovely were all those projects? Be sure to leave a comment for each of the creators – we just love comments!
