Good Afternoon and welcome to this week’s Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop. This week our theme is ‘Birthday Girl’ and I’ve used the Cactus Cuties Bundle.

Now you might wonder why I’ve chosen to use this Bundle for a Birthday Girl card. Well it just so happens my daughter is celebrating her 25th Birthday today. We’ve had celebrations and fun events since Sunday. I’m sure by tomorrow arrives I’ll need a big nap! Anyway she loves Cactii and that is why I chose this little bundle to make her card.
This is a great little bundle and with a low price point it makes a great purchase for many different projects.
Here’s the card I made …
It was a lot of fun making this card.
The images were stamped and cut out with Paper Snips. I know there’s a punch to use for the pots but it’s really just as easy to cut them with the snips. I did use the punch to punch out the flowers.
The pots are stamped in Coastal Cabana and the Cacti are in Granny Apple Green. My punched flowers are in Melon Mambo and Mango Melody. The sentiment comes from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set and is heat embossed White on Black cardstock.
I have used a strip of patterned paper from the Abstract Beauty 4×6 Designer Series Paper Pack. To finish off my card I’ve embellished with the adhesive backed sequins.
My girl loved her card and I hope you like it too.
