Box O’ Love

Happy Valentine’s Day!!

Now it could be that you are like me and dont normally celebrate Valentine’s Day but I’d made that card on Sunday and thought well how about a nice little treat box to give him – he isnt expecting anything and its just got some chocolates inside but he does have a sweet tooth!

So while I was preparing for Carolyn’s Party on Sunday and playing with the Purse Die I remembered a sweet box I’d seen on Tanya’s Blog and this is what I’ve made ….

I so love that little Fresh Prints Paper Stack – I love the colours and the patterns and the size is perfect!  I think I’ll have to stock up on these before they finish at the end of June.  I love the combination of Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana and Real Red!

Here’s a side on view so you can see that it’s quite a decent size …. the base is 2 3/4″ or 7.2cm square – trust me it has quite a few chockies in there ….

The sentiment is from Perfect Pennants and the Frilly Heart is from Hearts A Flutter.  I simply cut it out with my Hearts a Flutter Framelit and then cut a bigger heart with the Heart Framelits.  Stampin’ Up! make everything so so easy with their colour and image coordination.

I sure hope he likes it … oh and that he lets me take it to the Stampin’ Up! Party on Sunday … do you think he’ll hold off consuming the chocolates before then?? Hmm probably not.
