Well its been a hectic couple of weeks with Father’s Day, Dad visiting, Catalogue Launches, Stamp A Stacks and the arrival of new stamps and goodies to play with its been a bit hard to keep up with it all!

One of the wonderful things about being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator are the awesome bonus gifts we get from Stampin’ Up!  Each year at Convention those who have achieved the level of Manager get a special invitation to a Reception and this year we were all ushered off to Parliament House for canapes and drinks and we also have a special talk by Shelli Gardner – CEO and Co-Founder of Stampin’ Up!

We also receive a special ‘thank you’ gift for our efforts and this year we received a gorgeous Butterfly frame …

We also received the gorgeous Blooming with Kindness Stamp Set which is now available in the new 2012-2013 Annual Catalogue.  This is such a beautiful stamp set with many beautiful sentiments in it and here’s a card I made using it for my Catalogue Launch and the girls got to make it at last Saturday’s Stamp A Stack as well ..

I simply cut out the die from the Apothecary Accents Framelits set and used the cut out as a mask. Shading it in crumb cake and soft suede and leaving the centre vanilla gives the card depth. I simply then just stamped the gorgeous Dahlia flower on the left and assembled my layers and finished it off with some Crumb Cake Seam binding and pearls.  It makes one very classy and elegant yet very easy card.

I have a friend who is going through treatment for Cancer so I thought this would be just perfect for her.

Here’s the inside of the card ….

Simply just a piece of Very Vanilla and stamped the dahlia in the opposite corner to what it is on the inside.

I love this card and would love to show you just how easy it is to make so why not contact me today and book your workshop in?  There is no pressure to buy – just simply get some friends together to make this card and matching envelope and have some fun!
