Welcome to Thursday!
Hang in there – one more sleep till the weekend!
Today I’m sharing with you a card … or three … using the Bloomin’s Hearts thinlits and the Bold Butterfly Framelits. My first card is one cased from the very talented Kirsteen Gill who shared her card on the Stampin Cafe group I run on Facebook with Libby. It’s a great group for all who love to see and share Stampin’ Up! creations so if you’d like to join us simply click here.
My card is done in Tip Top Taupe …
Mine is a wee bit different to Kirsteen’s card and I just love that cutout butterfly! Such another lovely way to use your Bloomin’ Hearts Thinlit die!
Now when I’d finished this card I thought how nice it would be in other colours so had to have a go and it’s lovely in Pool Party …
I’ve done a little sponging around the top layer and the base butterfly and stamped on the flowers. I’ve also randomly stamped the sweet little flower sprig from Bloomin Love Stamp Set.
Apparently it also looks lovely in pink …
I think this one might just be my favourite. I’ve sponged around the edges on the top layer and the base butterfly as well as the little flowers. The embellishments on the flowers are from the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit.
For the background I’ve use the lovely leaf motif and the Forever Friends sentiment comes from the new First Sight stamp set. Such a pretty set!
I do hope you’ve liked today’s cards. Now I must get to writing in them and sending them off.
Thanks for stopping by and see you latte …
