Good Afternoon! Welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop with the Latte Girls! Today we are having some fun with Blossoms.
One thing I always here from customers and friends is that they find it hard to create cards for the men and boys in their lives. Do you struggle with male or masculine cards and projects to? I hope some of our ideas today will help you.
It also just happened to be my hubby’s 60th Birthday here on Monday so it is a timely theme. I also ran a Birthday Boy Class here on Sunday. It was good to get a bit grungy with the cards we made. Here’s one we made at class using the Ride with Me Bundle
This was a fun card to make. I’ve stamped the truck and balloons in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with my Stampin’ Blends Markers. While there is no die to cut the truck out it’s quite easy to do. The balloons were cut out with the die from the Truck Ride Dies.
I even made up the Truck Die to gift with the card.
They make a stunning pair dont you think? Now as hubby got a Bike for his Birthday it was a little hard to make one of those to pop onto the back of the truck! Now it seems we are all getting bikes … am I mad?? Stampin’ Up! may need to bring out a bike riding family stamp set now!
While the truck can be a little fiddly to make it’s worth it. They are fun to make.
The ‘road’ is created using a stamp from Artisan Textures and it’s just stamped 5 times in a row with Gray Granite. I have also painted the hub caps and window with Wink of Stella.
My sentiment is cut out using one of the Stitched Rectangle dies.
Let’s go hopping …
Now it’s time to hop around and see what the Latte Girls have made for you today with the Bird Ballad Suite …
