Good Afternoon! Welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop with the Latte Girls! Today we are sharing projects made with the Feels Like Frost Suite.
This past weekend I hosted my first Biggest Morning Tea. It’s a fundraiser for the Cancer Council here in Australia. It’s one of the biggest fundraising events held in Australia each year.
So for my event we had lots of treats, sweet, savory and some for those watching their weight. Then I also had a table set up to make some cards. The ladies made cards to take home plus a couple to donate to our local Cancer Treatment Centre.
Here are the cards ….
The stamp sets we used were Artfully Aware and Ribbon of Courage.
As not all the ladies attending were crafters I made the cards easy to recreate for those who hadnt stamped before. Plus one card coloured with Stampin Blends for those who regularly stamp or craft with me.
Sadly, the Ribbon of Courage Stamp Set has now retired but the Artfully Aware is still available. Both these sets were designed in collaboration with two Demonstrators as a reward for achieving $1,000,000 in sales! What a huge achievement and what hearts they have to create sets such as these!
I had made up 80 card kits to make on the day and these were finished off at Tuesday’s Technique Class with a little help from two of my customers. I now have a bundle of 80 cards to go up to the Cancer Treatment Centre.
Doing this is just one small way of helping those in need, those going through this horrid disease, and those supporting them. Also the funds going to the Cancer Council are used in research and support programs.
If you would like to donate to my event you still can and if you are located in Australia all donations of $2 or more are Tax Deductible.
Let’s go hopping …
I do hope you enjoyed all the Inspiration in today’s Blog Hop. Remember to leave a comment so the girls know you stopped by.
