Good Morning!
Well today will be a mad rush to ensure I’ve packed everything and done everything I need to do before tomorrow’s flight to Melbourne for the Stampin’ Up! Convention which starts on Thursday.
I wanted to pop in and share a card I made a little while ago using the Nature Walk Stamp Set and the Tulip Frame Embossing Folder both new in the Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue.
I wanted to show how you can use the Tulip Frame Embossing Folder for making various sized frames and mats.
You simply cut your cardstock to a little larger than the mat/frame you want and line up 2 or 3 edges of the cardstock with the frame and run it through the Big Shot.
Then you line up the other edges and the pattern you’ve just created and run it half way or 2/3’s through the machine and then wind it back – dont put it all the way through as the last part will flatten what you did in the first pass. Oh I hope that makes sense … if not drop me a line and I’ll do some instructions when I get back from Melbourne.
This is a very queasy card and I’ve just used my Stampin Write markers to colour in the flower stamp and stamp it straight down and then stamp a sentiment at the bottom.
As you can see you could use this card for any occasion at all from Sympathy to Birthday to Get well.
Now I’d better get back to that to-do list so I dont leave anything behind tomorrow!
love it!
Can I get personal instruction? Love the card.
Only 1 sleep to go and I haven’t even thought about packing!! See you tomorrow
Another beautiful card Leonie.
You realise you have made me take a 2nd (3rd and 4th) look at this set now!!! I love this queasy card…and who doesn’t need a couple of them on hand every now and then?? Love the colour combo too.
Have a FAB time in Melb.
