Welcome! This is my first time with the Alaska Achievers Blog Hop and today we are sharing Sale-a-bration and Occasions projects with you!
Alaska Achiever’s
Now you might be wondering what or who the Alaska’s Achievers are and why are they celebrating with a Blog Hop? Well we are all Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators located all over the world. With lots of consistent and hard work we have earned ourselves an Alaskan Cruise with the compliments of Stampin’ Up! Through working with those in our teams and sharing what we love with our customers we earn points. Points are rewarded for people promoting within our team, for our Sales and our own Promotions. Once we accrue the required amount of points we can use them to redeem products, logo items and gift cards. If you earn the required amount of points (160,000) you can redeem them for the Incentive Trip and that being an Alaskan Cruise for two!
Occasions and Sale-a-bration
I do love the beginning of a New Year as it brings with it not only a new Occasions Catalogue but also Sale-a-bration!
The Occasions Catalogue has to be my favourite catalogue with everything new, fresh and bright!
One of the gorgeous new sets in the Occasions Catalogue is the Hanging Garden Stamp Set and here’s what I’ve created with it today for you …
I was looking for some inspiration for some projects and after, what seemed like hours, strolling through Pinterest I couldnt find anything to inspire me. I then decided to hit the ‘sketch’ sites and came across this sketch from CardMaps …
With that sketch my Hanging Basket card was created.
My background layer is one of the pieces of Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Sale-a-bration Springtime Foils pack – it’s a gorgeous Rose Gold Foil design. I’ve then used my Layering Circles Framelits to cut out my circle layer and then done a Watercolor Wash in Pool Party. I stamped my hanging basket onto a piece of Shimmery White in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then coloured my basket with the gorgeous new Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers. It was then cut out using the Sweet & Sassy Framelits. I did freehand draw the hanging chain on my circle layer with my Stampin’ Write Marker.
You can see how I created this card on this Facebook Live Video
Latte Box of Inspiration
Have you ever lost your mojo? or got overwhelmed by all the ideas online? Well I’ve come up with my “Latte Box of Inspiration” to help you!
It’s one of our Half Wood Mount Cases and it comes decorated and complete with oodles of card sketches inside. These sketches are for you to use to inspire you to create your own cards with. You can even use the back of the sketch card to jot notes or ideas on.
You can sit it on your desk or on a shelf as the tag is on the spine as well! I’ve also added the odd tip or idea to a sketch to help you think outside the ‘box’
So how and where do you get one of these little Latte Boxes of Inspiration? You can get one for free by simply shopping with me in March! Simply place an order of $50 or more with me during March and I’ll send one to you! You can also purchase one from me if you have (or are) your own Demonstrator!
Now let’s get the hop going and see what the other Achiever’s have created for you today …
I hope you enjoy all the projects everyone has made for you today and thanks for stopping by and checking out my little project! I’d love to hear your comments.
