I loved these stamps as soon as I saw them and once I got them was lost for ideas.
While I was on holidays I visited my good friend Kerri and she showed me one of hers and I thought how nice and using the black & white gives it such an elegant look.
Kerri used just the heart stamp in hers and once I made mine I decided it was too nice not to make a whole set using this Hostess set.
I didnt colour all of the stamped image in – just 3 selections on each.I feel this gives these cards just enough colour but not too much so they look over done.
I have also used the Stampin’ Write Markers to colour the selected images and then gone over the top of just the coloured images with Crystal Effects. This just gives it a little extra to the card.
Here is a picture of the stamped images close up showing the Crystal Effects.
The photo doesnt do it justice but I think you can see the shiny raised effect the Crystal Effects give.

The greetings at the bottom right of the cards were done using the Short and Sweet stamp set that you can get at 20% off when you spend $20 during the month of October as part of the Birthday Promotion from Stampin’ Up!®.
You can see what other stamps you can get at 20% off during October click here and all you need to do to get them at 20% off is just spend $20 on any other products – how sweet is that deal?
Have a great day and treat yourself to a Latte!
Hi Leonie,
Like many others this set didnt grab me at first. Wow, this is the best idea I have seen with this stampset. They look like little plastic stickers not stamps. Great idea. I love what you do with your markers, too.
Hey Leonie, I love these cards. I am not too keen on this stamp set, I have it sitting in my cupboard planning on giving it as a gift to someone, but you are now making me think about putting it together & using it, ooooohhhhh another set to mount (lol) 😉
Hi Leonie! Just love these … and was so relieved to see that you had “CASED” from a friend. Makes me feel so much better about stealing your Chrissy Card idea for my Stamp-a-stack! I just love stopping by your blog … the inspiration you give is amazing! Now … I just feel like I HAVE TO stop and try these cards out … HHHmmm! 😉 I hope you are having a lovely day!
(PS : Fixed your name on my blog! Must have got you mixed up with Schroeder from Charlie Brown! )
Love them! I’ve also had mine for a while, and no idea what to do with them! I will be making these for sure! TFS.
