Welcome to another Thursday Time Out!
The card, or I should say cards, I’m sharing with you today was cased from one I saw on Pinterest and was created by Di Dimich. When I did Carolyn’s Party last Sunday she wanted ideas for Weddings and with all her guests being either new to stamping or new to Stampin’ Up! I wanted to make it easy enough for a new stamper but still stunning to give as a Wedding Card. I also got to thinking that maybe not everyone will need a Wedding card so gave them options for other occasions as well.
Here’s the card ….
I just love this card and its so super easy to make that I couldnt help myself – I had to make a couple more in different colours …
I am so in love with these cards and I showed the ladies how you get such a different look just by inking up your embossing folder before running it through the Big Shot. Each card is the same design – all I’ve done is swapped the sentiment from Label Love and coordinated the ribbon for the different colours.
Some Demonstrators will tell you that you need to use your brayer to ink up the folders but I will tell you to just use the ink pad direct onto the folder. It doesnt hurt your ink pad and who needs extra tools to clean when you are finished??
I also showed the girls how to gather ribbon using the Seam Binding which is a great trick to know however it appears the gathering on this one has already left for the Swans game tonight!
So what do you need to make these cards??
Well I’m starting a new feature for my customers … when you purchase a stamp set from me you will receive an added bonus! Not only will you get a Latte Inspiration Sheet which will have 3 or 4 different project ideas using that set but you’ll also receive a Project sheet with a list of supplies needed and instructions. These sheets will also be included with the projects you make in my Creative Club and classes and if you order a class by mail you’ll get one then too!
Now for today only you can grab the Project Sheet for this card so you’ll see what you are going to get … or miss out on if you buy your stamps elsewhere! Click here to Download the Baroque Love Project Sheet now!
Thanks for stopping by …
